I Smell Spring in the Air

Good morning America,
I woke up today and went outside to pick up my breif. A little wind came by and told me of spring. The smell of sweetness in the air and blossoms blooming,

I could not help but feel a litte spring in my step.

I chose Sugar Magnolia for this mornings post.

It'll put a little sprng in your step too. Just dance baby!

Terrapin Crossroads

As a life long rock-n-roll lover, I have to make a living to support my family and my hobby. I have been an electrical contractor for 28 years.
I specialize in illuminated signage.

Checkout my website. http://bayareasignsolutions.com/

Recently, Phil Lesh the bass player for Grateful Dead, purchased a restaurant in San Rafael, California, The Seafood Peddler. The renovation is well under way and the grand opening is scheduled for March 17th.
Terrapin Crossroads has a restaurant, a ballroom called the Grate Room, an outside patio on the canal with a boat

I have been a Greateful Dead fan "Dead Head" since 1966. Now! as an electrical contractor I have been asked to bid on all of the signage for "Terrapin Crossroads"
A dream come true.

Check out the video bar to watch Phil Lesh and Phil Lesh and friends videos>

Enjoy,

Tom

I Love Rock'N'Roll

This is a new blog dedicated to Rock'N'Roll. Check in once in a while to see additions and changes. Feel free to comment on anything to do with this blog and or Rock'N'Roll.

I grew up in the late 50's, 60's and 70's. I was exposed to Rock music mostly by my older brother listening to the radio.

In 1966 I got my first earfull of the Grateful Dead. I was never the same. From that time on I saw close to 600 GD concerts until Jerry's death in "95".

I am a fan of all kinds of Rock'N'Roll and have seen hundreds of live performances.
My very first concert was in 1965 at a high school football field. The concert bill featured
The Loading Zone
The Blue Light District
Sir Douglas Quintet
The Yardbirds w/Jeff Beck
There were dozens of white sheets sewn together for a lightshow back drop. The light show folks used over head projectors with cooking oil and food coloring in glass baking pans one per projector. They would hold the pans and jiggle and tilt them around to the beat of the music. With different colors in each pan they superimposed one projector over another for a wonderful effect.

Check back for more of my Rock'N'Roll experiences or post your own!
